Baking Soda and Strawberries

What is malic acid? Don’t be alarmed! it’s harmless, it is merely the combination of strawberries and baking soda. This makes it safe for home use.

Here are the steps to this homemade teeth whitening:

Step One

Crush a large strawberry and mix it with half a tablespoon of baking soda, so that it is blended into a paste.

Step Two

Apply the paste to your toothbrush and use it to apply the solution evenly over your teeth.

Step Three

Leave the paste on the teeth for 5 minutes. Then brush your teeth with regular toothpaste. Rinse your mouth thoroughly.

Caution

Dr Carrel recommends that this procedure be carried out, just once a week as too much use may cause damage to the enamel on your teeth.

Baking Soda and Hydrogen Peroxide

The use of baking soda and Hydrogen peroxide is a popular homemade teeth whitener mix.

Here are the steps:

Step One

First add a quarter cup of hydrogen peroxide and a quarter cup of good mouth wash to one cup of water. Then add 2 table spoons of baking soda.

Step Two

Consume the solution and keep in your mouth for 1 minute, then rinse well.

Step Three

Now make a your own homemade whitening toothpaste, with 2 tablespoons of baking soda, two tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide, half a table spoon of salt and a small dab of normal toothpaste.

Step Four

Brush your teeth with the solution for no less than two minutes. Noe clean it off with warm water and then brush your teeth with normal toothpaste.

Step Five

You can repeat this process safely once every week.

Similar to most teeth whitening techniques is the homemade teeth molds combined with baking soda and toothpaste.

Here is a guide to follow that you can use to achieve results using this method:

Step One

First make some molds of your teeth. This should include you upper and lower teeth. You will need to use two small pieces of aluminum foil.

Step Two

Make a mixture by adding two tablespoons of baking soda with tow tablespoons of toothpaste.

Step Three

Apply the mixture you created in step two to the aluminum foil molds you made of your teeth in step one.

Step Four

Now place the foil with the mixture on it, on top of your teeth, make sure the mixture is even across your teeth.

Step Five

Leave the mixture on top of your teeth for 30 to 60 minutes.

Step Six

Clean the mixture off your teeth with regular toothpaste. You should do this only once a week and no more.

You may or may not know, but using charcoal to promote whiter teeth is very effective. You are probably thinking wont charcoal make your teeth black? and the answer is yes! but this only when you apply it before rinsing your mouth.

Why is charcoal a good teeth whitening solution?

The consumption of charcoal is commonly used to help get rid of toxins from the stomach to promote healing. The same is true when charcaol is used on the surface of the teeth, it has the ability to remove toxins from the mouth and stains that are on the teeth.

Activated charcoal also has properties that can change the ph and health of the mouth to such a degree that it can prevent cavities and get rid of bad bacteria that is present in tooth decay and gingivitis.

So here is how to do this:

Step One

You will need some charcoal, the best type is activated charcoal powder or capsules (It should be made from wood or coconut sources and not petroleum).

Step Two

Take a clean wet tooth brush and dip it into the tub of powdered charcoal. Alternatively you can poor a capsule of charcoal onto your wet toothbrush.

Step Three

When your putting the charcoal on the wet tooth brush makes sure you lean over it so that you can quickly place it into your mouth and protect you sink from getting stained.

Step Four

Brush your teeth with the charcoal gently in a circular motion for 2 minutes over your teeth.

Step Five

Spit out the charcoal carefully and rinse your mouth well. You mouth should start feeling cleaner already!

The Apple Cider Vinegar & Fresh Vegetable Technique

It is possible to use apple cider vinegar as-well as fresh vegetables to help whiten and keep your teeth white.

When using Apple cider vinegar you can use it to brush your teeth, the same way that you would use toothpaste. It is recommended that you brush for a minimum of 5 minutes.

When eating fresh veggies rubbing them over your teeth before doing so is a great way to promote teeth whiteness.

Vegetables that have abrasive qualities are as follows:

celery, unpeeled carrots, broccoli and unpeeled cucumbers.
